Barton Estate is a small family owned producer of handmade premium Canberra District wines from estate grown fruit. Their wines reflect the unique place they grow the grapes, the passion they have for vines and wines and the science they bring to the artisan products they proudly make. 20 acres of vines are nestled among remnant Yellow Box and Blakely’s red gum woodland in the historic Jeir Valley on carefully selected sunny north facing slopes where frost risk is minimal. The vineyard site is widely regarded as some of the best viticultural land in the district and they firmly believe this is how they produce the highest quality fruit.

Celebrated as one of the best wineries in Australia, Clonakilla is a small, family business dedicated to producing distinctive, handcrafted Canberra region wines in limited quantities. Their wines have consistently earned critical acclaim, with Tim Kirk named Gourmet Traveller Wines' Winemaker of the Year in 2013. A new Clonakilla cellar door opened in 2016. Relax surrounded by local stone, reclaimed timbers, deconstructed wine barrels and a large fireplace. Look up from the tasting bar through the vineyards to the renovated Clonakilla windmill at the top of the hill. It’s the perfect place to encounter the Clonakilla story, to taste what this landscape has to say through the medium of wine.

Eden Road Wines was established in 2006. Their objective is to provide high quality cool climate wines from their two estate vineyards, both over 50 years old and with grapes sourced from the best growers in Canberra, Tumbarumba and Gundagai. Their wines are recognised as amongst Australia’s best cool climate wines as demonstrated by two decades of multiple trophies and gold medals at Australia’s top wine shows including being awarded the Jimmy Watson Trophy. Their Lake George vineyard was planted in 1971, while the Murrumbateman vineyard was planted in 1972.

Call in to our cellar door, enjoy a guided tasting and sample our cheese and tasting plates. The coffee machine is on and we bake fresh scones served with jam and cream on weekends. Molie our beloved dog is usually on hand to greet you and you are welcome to bring your pooch along to say g’day.

Their love for bees stems from a deep appreciation of animals and the natural world. Their hives are nestled in native eucalypt forests and woodlands, where they produce honey from spotted gum, stringybark, and yellow box—key ingredients in their handcrafted mead, among the finest in Australia. At Win’s Creek, their restaurant offers meals and platters designed to complement their mead. They source ingredients locally whenever possible, featuring pasture-raised pork, free-range chicken and eggs, and a selection of house-made sweets.
