Makers of Murrumbateman is a collective of passionate individuals, businesses, and community associations dedicated to showcasing the best our region has to offer. Whether you’re a local producer, artisan, winemaker, or community advocate, becoming a member connects you to a network that values collaboration, innovation, and regional pride.
An elected committee manages the organisation according to the NSW Model Rules for Incorporated Associations. Makers of Murrumbateman members met regularly, at least quarterly, to discuss, plan and to share ideas to help promote the Murrumbateman region.

Membership Benefits
- Murrumbateman Moving Feast: The Moving Feast is the Makers of Murrumbateman flagship event, held annually on the October long weekend. The event began in 2006. Today the Feast is firmly established as one of the regions significant events and is attracting growing numbers of visitors and increased publicity and sponsorship support.
- Makers of Murrumbateman Website: We maintain and regularly updates this website providing visitors to the region a valuable resource about the makers in the region and upcoming events held by the members.
- Yass Valley Visitor Guide: The Makers of Murrumbateman is listed in the Yass Valley Visitors Guide with a distribution of 80,000 copies. The book also includes a one page spread of showcasing the Murrumbateman Winery Trail.
- Information Boards: Information boards has been erected adjacent to the bus shelter in Jones Park and also on the wall at the Petrol Station.
- Makers of Murrumbateman Map: This map has been developed to give visitors to the region an easy resource showcasing the regions makers and their locations; a really great visitor planning tool!
- Social Media and Publicity: The Makers of Murrumbateman group, through the Committee, manage both Facebook and Instagram accounts. Posts and stories are scheduled 3-4 times per week (with more posts for large events such as the Moving Feast), sharing posts across the membership group.
- Additional Activities: Across the year, members have access to events and festivals.
Membership is open to businesses, community associations and individuals in the membership region of 2582. Exemptions to this criterion may be considered by the Committee on receipt of an applications. Membership fees apply.
